My Story

I've no idea of I can cycle 55 miles, but when I signed up it seemed like a good idea. It's an amazingly worthwhile cause, which I know as my husband Mark works for them. They do so much good, and save lives, and they have supported him so well after the hell that was working in the Emergency Department during the Pandemic. If you have a few quid to contribute I'd be so grateful.

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance provides life-saving, pre-hospital critical care, to patients in need. They are a vital part of the community across Dorset and Somerset and they rely on your support.

I’m supporting DSAA as the service they provide is 95% funded by charitable giving; by people like you. Last year, they were tasked to 2,424 incidents, with each mission costing approximately £3,500.

Please join me in helping to raise funds for this life-saving service. Together, with your support, they can be there for patients today, tomorrow and in the future.

I've no idea of I can cycle 60 miles, but when I signed up it seemed like a good idea. I'm training, but I'm not sure how you train for a bike ride like this when you've got so little time! It's an amazingly worthwhile cause, which I know as my husband Mark works for them. They do so much good, and save lives.
